WHO WE ARE

Malungon Water District

The Malungon Water District was established through Board Resolution No. 116 (amended by Resolution No. 224, series 1987) on August 21, 1987, and was formalized by the Local Water Utilities Administration with Certificate of Conditional Conformance No. 370 on November 29, 1988.

The district operates under Presidential Decree No. 198, as amended, known as the "Provincial Water Utilities Act of 1973." Its mandate encompasses the acquisition, installation, improvement, maintenance, and operation of water supply and distribution systems for domestic, industrial, municipal, and agricultural uses.

From a small district in 1987, the organization has grown into a Category A, Large Water District — a testament to decades of dedicated public service and operational excellence.
