Water Rates

Current schedule of water rates and charges for all service classifications under Malungon Water District.

Rates effective as of January 1, 2026. Subject to change upon approval of the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA).

Residential

For household and residential use.

Minimum Charge (0–10 cu.m.)	₱ 180.00
11 – 20 cu.m.	₱ 18.00 / cu.m.
21 – 30 cu.m.	₱ 22.00 / cu.m.
31 – 40 cu.m.	₱ 26.00 / cu.m.
41 cu.m. and above	₱ 30.00 / cu.m.

Other Charges & Fees

Additional fees applicable to all service classifications.

Service Connection Fee — ½ inch	₱ 3,500.00
Service Connection Fee — ¾ inch	₱ 4,500.00
Service Connection Fee — 1 inch	₱ 6,000.00
Meter Deposit (Refundable)	₱ 500.00
Reconnection Fee	₱ 250.00
Transfer of Account	₱ 150.00
Returned Check Penalty	₱ 300.00
Surcharge for Late Payment	10% of bill
Senior Citizen Discount	5% of bill

Important Notes

All rates are inclusive of applicable government taxes.
Bills are rendered monthly. Payment is due within 30 days from billing date.
A 10% surcharge is added to unpaid bills after the due date.
Disconnection may occur after 2 consecutive unpaid billing periods.
Senior citizens are entitled to a 5% discount on monthly water bills.
Rates are subject to change upon LWUA approval.
